We stand behind the design before you’re committed to the build. You see your homepage design first. If it isn’t right, we redesign it. If it still isn’t right, you get a refund, and you’ve lost nothing but a few days.
01 The design guarantee
Every project starts with your homepage design, which you see before we build the rest of the site. If you don’t love it, tell us and we’ll redesign it. If the redesign still isn’t right, ask for a refund before you approve a design and before we start building, and you’ll receive:
- Launch and Horizon: a full refund of what you paid.
- Constellation and government projects: your deposit back in full.
- Orbit (all-in-one) plan: your first month refunded and the plan cancelled, with the 3-month minimum waived.
If you take this refund, the designs we created for you stay ours. You won’t receive the design files, and the designs can’t be used, copied, or handed to someone else to build.
Sites designed in advance: if you buy a site we designed before you hired us, you’ve seen and approved the design at purchase. The design guarantee doesn’t apply, but your revision rounds and 30 days of fixes still do.
02 Once the build begins
When you approve a design, we start building the full site. From that point, payments for the work aren’t refundable. You still get the revision rounds included in your package, and we’ll keep you updated at every step.
03 After launch
For 30 days after your site goes live, we’ll fix anything that isn’t working as agreed, at no charge: a broken link, a form that doesn’t send, a layout that breaks on a phone. New pages, features, or changes in scope are priced separately, upfront. Launched work isn’t refundable.
04 The Orbit plan (all-in-one)
The Orbit plan is billed monthly, with your first month charged when you sign up. After a 3-month minimum it’s month-to-month, so you can cancel anytime. Cancelling stops the next charge; the current month isn’t prorated. Your domain and content are always yours, and the site becomes yours after 12 months, or sooner with a prorated buyout.
05 How payment works
- Launch and Horizon: paid in full when you book.
- Constellation and government projects: a 50% deposit to start, and the remaining 50% at launch, before the site goes live on your domain.
- Orbit (all-in-one) plan: monthly, starting at sign-up.
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
06 How to request a refund
Email hello@hellopaleblue.com with your name and project. We’ll confirm within one business day and issue the refund through Stripe to the card or wallet you paid with. Refunds can only go back to the original payment method, and your bank typically shows the credit within 5–10 business days.
07 Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll update this page and the date at the top. Changes never apply to a project that’s already underway; the policy in place when you booked is the one that applies.
